ah, ok. thanks for the deep facts. already assumed a truncated dictionary when after fane and lapin naos and soca also wouldn't work. But still think I found one: FENDS is missing from the current curious board. although FEND is in it @ 4 letters and it seems to be common enough to be included...
edit:
been down the rabbithole now, and now I get the concept. Always assumed there'd be three different boards there selected for the amount of easy/hard/obscure words on them, when in fact you're having the same grid with different versions of dictionary.

If you switch the mode to Rabbit Hole, you will see the full dictionary of words.
The Timeless Board has 3 modes. Curious only contains common English words. Curiouser contains a larger dictionary, but doesn't use archaic or rare words (or swear words). Rabbit Hole uses the full dictionary (which is also used in live games, the Everyday Boards and the Tournaments).
The levels are designed for people who don't want to spend hours searching for obscure letter combinations, or people who would like to improve their vocabulary without including words that are never used in everyday language.
Note: We use a custom dictionary and some of the definitions are not accurate (especially for the esoteric words), so if you notice any that are incorrect, please let us know. There may also be some common words that are occasionally missing from the Curious mode. The dictionary is very large so it is an ongoing process and we could use help on this.

yes, playing timeless. how about soca?

Thank you both.
“Chyron/s” will begin to show in boards within a few days.
“Lapin/s” and “fane/s” are already in our dictionary. It’s possible you’re not seeing them due to playing a version of the Timeless Board that doesn’t include them.

Hello Sasa. These words have been added to the dictionary but aren’t showing yet. They’ll appear in the boards soon, I promise. Thanks for your help.

Still not seeing vape, vaping, vaped….and ok, larb doesn’t come up that much ,but really, have you seen the rabbit hole word list? It is common where I live….and not a crazy word. Also catio, if your think we speak actual English in our country, I hear it like 17 times per day and Portland used to be a cat town and now dogs totally trump babies, by a long shot, and I still hear it constantly….

You make far fewer mistakes than a huge number of Brits and Americans - seriously don’t worry or feel embarrassed, ever.
Also, I love compound words, I think they’re kewl and we need more of them.
Let’s bring breakfastbreak into regular use. 🥳🧇🥞☕️🥐

Someone needs to do the brain work for me. I am always a little confused and then I make stupid mistakes:-( I am great at transient errors too. My brain or focus is always in a hurry or almost dead. Not much inbetween;-) But I remember the first time Alien addressed me on the old platform by saying: "breakfastbreak" - I don't think you write this together." And I was like: S---, how embarrassing! But at the same time: Hm...somebody cares, so you have to learn and pay a bit more attention;-)

Can’t believe he is telling anyone how to spell anything. Or that he is right. So weird.

It is in deed! I got confused because I found my spelling online. But is a platform like Ebay:-))))
