Well, I did that personality test. I came out as ISTP-A, which I don't think is correct, after reading about my supposed traits. I don't know about you people, but a lot of the test questions I found hard to answer. I don't trust these tests much, anyway...

I don't think word games as a whole attract specific kinds of people. You could maybe argue that games involving searching or kooky logic ie. boggle, cryptics, panagrams are more likely to draw in creative problem solvers. Straight crosswords and logic grids may appeal to people who enjoy more rigidity I guess

ENTJ-A. Pretty close except I am more empathetic than it professes and a creative person too. I don't think it has changed much since my early years. One of the recommended professions back then was psychology and/or sociology, which was a hard no. Although with my work, I feel like a psychiatrist at times since I listen and solve problems.

I've tried to take the Enneagram test too. I eagerly answered all the questions but in the end they wanted me to pay for the result, though the test was declared to be for free:-(

An advocat? Meow!!!

Finally I took the test and remembered that I've already done it a few years ago. I'm still an advocat (INFJ-A) and it is a perfect fit with my personality.

INFP seems like it may be the most common one here I suppose? (+1 for me)

Domino, the test we are mainly talking about is the Meyers-Briggs personality test. I took it in college, and another time as part of a job interview. You can take a free abbreviated test here: Personality Types | 16Personalities.

Interestingly, my personality type has changed since the first time I took the test. They claim that never happens, but it does. It has to because you don't stay at the same level of development or experience throughout your life. My top listed recommendation for a career the first time I took the test, was a mail carrier. The second time I took the test, and every abbreviated test I've taken since then, says my top recommended job is police detective.

ENFJ-T here. Hmmm. The most important fact is that the Audubon society said my personality was that of an Anna’s hummingbird. That’s probably the most telling….

INFP-T and Enneagram Type 4 for me! If you’ve never taken an Enneagram personality test, I strongly recommend it because I found it to be WAY more descriptive and (eerily) accurate than other test results.

I would imagine that the majority of folks on here are particularly introverted, introspective, and creative.

Me personally, I am borderline antisocial out in “the real world” because it’s full of distractions, and I usually have a one-track mind/focus haha
