Show & Tell

by

You know what, some "kid" things like naps, fruit gummies, and Show & Tell are underrated. So heck it, Show & Tell time! I want to see a favorite snack, sentimental object, improbable item you own, or etc. and perhaps a fun fact about it?

You can use imgbox or a similar image host site to upload a picture-- using Markdown (without asterisks) should get your picture in here: ![alt text](image link with .jpg/.png at the end)

big stompers This is my koala plushie... his name is Marsupial Monstertruck. The feet have weighted beanie stuffing in them so they are extra stompy (I have no idea why he is like this but when I saw the lil dude in a thrift store I just had to get him).

lol it’s a good thing you checked and didn’t just tell him he’s a cheeky bastard. “Yes I do, how dare you!”…

For some reason, I often misread names on here - I’m not sure why. Usually not ones that even start with the same letter. Is bizarre eh? I don’t think it’s the colours either.

Maybe I just need to learn to read.

Lime I do that a lot myself, misread things that is. I also mishear things very often, enough that I've learned to be cautious and ask people to repeat things before I commit myself. Once at the checkout counter I thought I heard the clerk say, "Do you ever work hard?" What he really said was, "Do you have a rewards card?" I told him what I thought he had said and he and the people in line behind me all had a good laugh.

I love going upstairs like that. So much safer also!

Down…not so much.

Sasa I tend to look a lot more than actually buy also, I consider it "enrichment" in my zoo enclosure or something lol!

Right you are domino! I assert that it is, additionally, a normal, valid, and incredibly beyond-judgement thing to enjoy going up stairs on all fours like little kids tend to do. Definitely.

Limes I am now currently imagining Dog With Equally Disproportionate Stomper Feets and it varies wildly on the scale of comical-terrifying depending on dog breed...

Awww. So cute. Kinda has the same expression as my dog.

Also, I dunno why but the first 3 times, I read “Word Game Friends” as “Word Games Freaks” and I was thinking it’s not called that is it? I don’t remember it being called that…but kinda makes sense… Then Sys magically changed it when I glanced away and it didn’t say that any more. Sneaky, Sys.

I love your little koala with the stompy feet. Nurture the "little kid" in you. In my opinion it is an unvaluable ability to behave and feel like a child from time to time (I constantly feel that way!). I will proudly showcase my life-long companions on discord. Anyone joining in?

Alien has a group called Word Game Friends. Here is a link. https://discord.gg/ECfXRQGq

Discord is easier for sure, I didn't know there was one though Sys? :0

The process of posting a pic sounds overwhelming. Maybe you should just join us on Discord.

Love it silver! I love thrift shops too, but am in a purging cycle, so haven’t been in a while. My students would love that beauty! Thanks for sharing.

(Yep there are indeed no asterisks, for those have italicized my text instead of appearing... my point still stands lol.)
